This is the second year I’ve attended Corgicon in San Francisco and I’m never disappointed. Not only am I excited to run in the beach with other dogs, but it’s truly amazing to see so many corgis in one day. This summer reached an amazing 800 corgis at Ocean Beach and I enjoyed every minute of it. So here are a list of reasons why Corgicon is so worth attending:
1) Who Doesn’t Love the Beach?
On a nice sunny day I love when my humans take me to dog-friendly beaches so I can freely run and play. I may get a little nervous in the water, but I’m slowly getting used to the waves coming my direction.
2) It’s community of pets and pet lovers galore
It’s a great time for a meet and greet with a large community of pet lovers. And its a great relief to see that momma human is not the only owner with Obsessive Corgi Disorder (OCD). Not only are there corgis, but other dog breeds are welcome to join.
3) It’s really for a good cause
Every year, the ExecuCorg team that organizes the event uses their proceeds to raise money for a variety of rescue organizations. They do this by selling fun corgi merchandise (T-shirts, bandanas, stickers). This is why I truly respect and love this event event more.
4) Awesome corgi swag
Not only do the organizers deliver awesome corgi swag items, but there were many owners with a significant amount of talent that were distributing corgi comics, homemade treats, buttons vlogs, etc. Just to name a few, check out the many talents of…

Momma human approves and feels that the community organizers did a great job of bringing us together. Plus, that creative corgi costume contest and corgi race is so worth the entertainment alone!! So for all you dog owners out there or folks who just love to play with dogs, this is a super fun event to check out. Can’t wait to attend Corgicon in the fall!!
